Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about the brushes, the fibers, shipping and care. If yours isn't here, get in touch.

What comes in the set?

Twelve brushes and a protective travel case. Four for base and cheeks (powder, blush, bronzer, foundation), seven for eyes and precision (small eye, big eye, shadow, eyebrow, concealer, blending, detail) and one fan for highlighter and fallout. Every handle carries its number, 1 through 12.

Are the brushes really vegan?

Yes. No animal hair at any point in the build, and no animal testing. The bristles are Microcrystalline Silk Fiber, a synthetic engineered to behave like the finest natural hair without any of the sourcing.

Do they shed?

No. Densely packed fibers set into reinforced aluminum ferrules, and every set is inspected by hand, one brush at a time, before it ships. Shedding is the single most common complaint with brushes in this price range and it is the thing we build against hardest.

What is the difference between Blue, Green and Red?

Colour, and nothing else. All three are the same twelve brushes with the same fibers, the same ferrules and the same case. Pick the one you want sitting on your counter.

Why synthetic instead of natural hair?

Natural hair soaks product into the core of the bristle, so you lose foundation to the brush and you fight to wash it out. Our precision-tapered synthetic holds product on the surface. You use less, you blend more evenly, and the brush washes clean without stripping. It is also the kinder option for sensitive skin, since there is no animal protein to react to.

How do I wash them?

Use a gentle cleanser in lukewarm water. Work the lather through with your fingertips, rinse until the water runs clear, gently squeeze out the excess, reshape the head and lay the brush flat to dry with the bristles hanging over an edge.

Never leave a wet brush standing upright. Water runs down into the ferrule, loosens the glue and that is what kills a brush over time. Wash weekly if you use liquids and creams, every two weeks for powders. Cared for this way a set lasts years.

My brushes have a faint smell out of the case

That is normal on a new set and it comes from the packaging, not the fibers. Leave the case open for 24 to 48 hours and it fades completely. It does not affect performance and it does not mean anything is wrong.

Are they suitable for sensitive skin?

They are designed for it. Synthetic fiber carries no animal protein, holds less bacteria than natural hair once washed, and the tips are cut soft rather than blunt. If you react to most brushes, this is the category to try.

Are they good for beginners?

That is exactly why the handles are numbered. Follow any tutorial and you can match the brush to the step without knowing the vocabulary yet. Experienced users get the same benefit in reverse, finding the shape they want without looking.

Where do you ship from and how do I order?

Orders are fulfilled through Amazon, which handles delivery and returns under Amazon's own policy. Use the Buy on Amazon button on any product page and you will land on the listing for that colourway.
