BERRY GOODS exists because the gap between a drugstore brush and a professional one is mostly markup.
Walk into any beauty hall and the brushes that actually perform carry a price that has very little to do with what went into them. Walk into a pharmacy and the affordable option sheds into your foundation on the third use. We started because that gap is not a law of physics. It is a pricing decision.
What we build
Twelve-piece sets, numbered 1 through 12, in three colourways. Ultra-soft Microcrystalline Silk Fiber bristles on balanced birch wood handles, set into reinforced aluminum ferrules, packed in a protective travel case.
The fiber is the part worth caring about. It is precision-tapered so that product sits on the surface of the bristle rather than soaking into the core, which means less foundation lost to the brush, more even blending, and a brush that actually washes clean instead of staying stained.
Vegan, and not as a marketing line
No animal hair anywhere in the build. No animal testing at any stage. Synthetic fiber has caught and passed natural hair on the things that matter for makeup, and it removes an entire supply chain most people would rather not think about. Making it the default was not a sacrifice.
Numbered on purpose
Every handle carries its number. If you are learning, you can follow a tutorial step by step without already knowing which shape is a crease brush. If you have been doing this for years, you find what you want without looking. It is a small decision that turns twelve unfamiliar objects into a system.
Checked by hand
Every set is inspected one brush at a time before it ships. Shedding is the complaint that ends a brush brand's reputation, so it is the thing we test hardest against. Densely packed fibers, reinforced ferrules, and a person looking at each one.
